Your wedding day isn’t about stiff poses or sprinting through a timeline. It’s about creating an experience that actually feels like you. Think celebration first, photos second. And if being in front of the camera feels a little awkward—good news, I’m right there with you. That’s why I keep things relaxed, light, and conversational, offering just enough direction so you never feel lost while the real moments happen on their own.
I’m also the calm, organized one quietly running the show. While you’re laughing, wandering, or popping champagne, I’m tracking the light, watching the weather, keeping the day flowing, lining up backup plans, and making sure no one gets hangry (because vibes matter). You stay present and soak it all in—I’ve got the details covered.
We’ll start the day at Halibut Point State Park, walking out toward the ocean viewpoint before the sun even rises. The world is still quiet, the air is cool, and everything feels slow in the best way. That peaceful early-morning calm settles in almost immediately, and before you know it, any nerves melt away. As the day begins to break, warm light shimmers across the water and you exchange your private vows—just the two of you, waves below, morning unfolding around you.
We’ll take full advantage of that soft, glowing light for portraits along the rocky quarry cliffs, letting the landscape and the moment do the heavy lifting. Afterward, we head to Bearskin Neck to experience the village the way it’s meant to be seen—quiet, colorful, and iconic—before the crowds arrive. Cobblestone paths, fishing boats, salt air, and that unmistakable Cape Ann charm, all to yourselves.
Next, we’ll drive down the coast to Half Moon Beach, where you meet up with your guests. This is where the day turns social and celebratory. You’ll have a relaxed beach ceremony with your closest people, followed by toasts, hugs, happy tears, and group photos that feel more like a gathering than a formal event. Shoes off, champagne flowing, ocean doing its thing.
If you’d like to keep the celebration going, you can upgrade to a full-day experience and head out on a private harbor cruise—either immediately after the ceremony or later for sunset. Ending the day on the water is hard to beat. As the sun dips low, the light turns golden, drinks are poured, and the coastline drifts by while you soak in that quiet we actually did this feeling. It’s relaxed, celebratory, and the perfect way to close out the day.
*Availability Notes*
This experience is available after May 1 through Memorial Day weekend, and again after Labor Day weekend through October 31.If you’re dreaming of summer dates, the flow needs to shift—either a ceremony after 5pm or a private venue rental for the ceremony to avoid crowds and restrictions.
If this sounds like your kind of day—the relaxed kind with great light, good people, and moments that feel real from start to finish—I’d love to bring it to life with you.
