Your wedding day starts slow, in a warm cabin tucked into the evergreens of Glacier. Snow piles high outside while the kettle steams on the stove. Inside, the morning is full of little details: lacing up boots, buttoning jackets, zipping gear bags. We’ll be there for all of it, the cozy stillness, the quiet nerves, the way you smile at each other from across the kitchen as first light filters through snow-dusted windows.
From there, your winter adventure begins.
If the resort is open, we’ll make our way to the Mt. Baker Ski Area with lift tickets in hand, gear loaded, and excitement rising. If you’ve opted for a backcountry route, we’ll head to Heather Meadows parking lot instead, where your skins will go on and we’ll begin the climb into the alpine silence of Artist Point or Herman Saddle. Either way, we’re surrounded by some of the most dramatic terrain in the North Cascades, with Mt. Shuksan towering to the east and Baker’s bulk rising in the distance like a frozen wave.
Your ceremony could be atop Chair 8 after a lap through the white room or on a windswept saddle with the world dropped away beneath you. Wherever it is, we’ll find a spot that feels like yours, where your vows carry on the wind and laughter echoes across untouched ridgelines.
Then, it’s time to ski.
We’ll document you carving down your favorite inbounds run, maybe Gabl’s, Honkers, or a tree-dodging detour through The Chute. Or if you’re out of bounds, it’s the satisfaction of ripping skins, clicking in, and laying first tracks through untouched powder or velvety corn. Coldsmoke trailing behind you, hoots of joy in the air, with cameras capturing every second.
Golden hour often hits just right on the return. Light pours across the peaks and alpenglow sets Shuksan on fire. We’ll capture a mix of sweeping cinematic portraits and playful candids, maybe a snowball fight, maybe a hot drink back at the car, definitely a kiss with your goggles still on.
It’s a celebration where every moment feels like you. Laid back, full of movement, and grounded in the wild.
