Point Reyes is one of California’s most magical coastal landscapes—windswept cliffs, hidden beaches, and the famous Cypress Tree Tunnel all within a short drive of each other. This five-hour elopement experience is designed to showcase the best of the area, striking a balance between iconic views and quiet, meaningful moments. From an intimate first look beneath the trees to a golden-hour ceremony overlooking the ocean, the day flows naturally without ever feeling rushed.
We’ll begin at the Cypress Tree Tunnel, where the arched Monterey cypress trees create one of the most iconic and romantic backdrops in Point Reyes. Here, you’ll share a first look and spend time together for portraits, surrounded by dappled light filtering through the branches.
From there, we’ll drive out to Point Reyes Beach North. The long stretch of sand and dramatic coastline sets the scene for relaxed portraits and a laid-back picnic, complete with local cheeses and artisanal treats. It’s the perfect moment to pause, enjoy the flavors of the region, and simply be together by the sea.
As the afternoon turns to evening, we’ll make our way to Chimney Rock Trail. This windswept headland is the perfect place for your ceremony, with expansive views of the Pacific and rugged cliffs all around. You’ll exchange vows as the sun begins to drop, then we’ll wander the trail for sunset portraits. To close the evening, you’ll share a champagne toast as the last light glows across the ocean.
This half-day experience is crafted to feel intentional and unhurried, with space to breathe and enjoy each part of your celebration. My role is to handle the details, guide you to the best light and locations, and make sure the pace always feels relaxed. And if being photographed feels a little intimidating, you’re not alone—most of my couples feel that way. My approach is supportive and easygoing, giving you just enough direction so you never feel stiff or posed. The result isn’t staged images, but photos that reflect how your day truly felt—joyful, natural, and completely you.
