A private boat charter is one of our favorite ways to experience Alaska. It gives you the freedom to slow down, explore the coastline, and reach places that most visitors never get to see. Instead of traveling from one location to another, you’re surrounded by incredible scenery the entire time. Every turn along the coastline reveals something new, whether it’s towering cliffs, quiet beaches, glacier-carved fjords, or wildlife along the shore.
Your day begins wherever you’re staying, with plenty of time to get ready and ease into the morning before meeting your captain at the harbor. From there, you’ll head out onto the water for a private charter. Depending on the weather, tides, and lighting, your captain will guide you to some of the most beautiful places along the coast, with opportunities to step ashore, explore, and enjoy the landscape at a relaxed pace.
When the time feels right, you’ll exchange your vows in a place that feels completely your own. Maybe that’s on a secluded beach, standing along a rocky shoreline, or even on the boat deck, surrounded by mountains and calm water. There isn’t one “perfect” ceremony location. Part of what makes this experience so special is choosing the place that feels right in the moment.
After your ceremony, there’s still time to continue exploring, celebrate with a charcuterie picnic and champagne, and simply enjoy being together while we document everything naturally. We never want the day to feel rushed or stressful. Our goal is for you to experience Alaska first, while we quietly preserve it all as it happens.
By the time you return to the harbor, you’ll have done so much more than exchange your vows. You’ll have spent the afternoon exploring Alaska’s coastline together, and that’s something you’ll get to relive every time you look through your gallery.
