This split day elopement experience is all about balancing adventure, “just us” time, and celebrating with a small group of loved ones. You’ll explore multiple outdoor spaces in a beautiful region of NW Washington, as well as having a sweet ceremony to make your marriage official while surrounded by your favorite people.
The beginning of your day will be all about the two of you. We’ll start out with some adventure, finding a fun spot for some climbing! Depending on the season, North Bend, WA and the surrounding area has some great options. You can explore some natural areas, like Rattlesnake Lake, or more in-town options, like Torguson Park’s climbing wall. You’ll get to enjoy some playful time together, easing into this really special day.
Next up, we’ll explore a couple more natural areas in the area. Depending on the scenery and experience you want, we could head to Snoqualmie Falls (waterfall, light hiking), Meadowbrook (open fields, forest, mountain views, leisurely walking), or Mount Si (challenging hike, mountain views, forest). No matter where you decide to go, you’ll get time to adventure and connect with each other and nature. This time will be about having a shared experience together as an intentional and integral part of celebrating your relationship. It’ll be all about having fun, being present, and simply enjoying each other’s company in a beautiful, meaningful place.
After this adventure, we’ll take one more stop for the morning – for ice cream! We’ll make a stop at Scott’s Dairy Freeze in downtown North Bend for some soft serve or milkshakes (and a burger with fries if you’ve worked up a full appetite!). You’ll get to relax together, enjoying some tasty food at a sweet, local spot before our mid-day break.
After you’ve had a few hours to yourselves after our morning adventures, we’ll meet back up for the main event of your day: Your ceremony! It’s time to make your marriage official.
Your friends and family will gather with you at a local courthouse where you’ll exchange vows and you’ll finally be pronounced married! After your ceremony, we’ll take some time for a few portraits with your loved ones. Then, everyone will head out, while you two stay behind for a few more moments to yourselves – your first moments alone as an officially married couple. I’ll document a few candid moments between you, as you take this time to absorb the fact you just got married (!). Then, we’ll say goodbye, as you head off to rejoin your loved ones for a celebratory meal to end the most perfect day.
