This seven-hour elopement is designed to move naturally through the landscapes around Port Angeles and Olympic National Park, beginning with shared moments and ending in quiet, open space.
The day begins at your cabin in Port Angeles, where we document relaxed getting-ready moments. You spend time together finishing details, adjusting outfits, and settling in before heading out. From there, we drive to an alpine lake inside Olympic National Park for your ceremony.
At the lake, you gather with your guests for vows surrounded by still water and mountain views. After the ceremony, we take time for portraits along the lakeshore, then move into the nearby rainforest for additional photos among mossy trees, waterfalls and filtered light. This portion of the day is calm and unhurried, allowing space to be fully present with the people who came to celebrate with you.
Once portraits are complete, you say goodbye to family and guests. From there, the experience shifts into a more private chapter. We drive up toward Hurricane Ridge, watching the landscape change as we gain elevation. After a short hike, we reach open ridge views overlooking the Olympic Mountains.
As the sun lowers, we focus on sunset portraits along the ridgeline. The light softens, the pace slows, and the views open wide. We continue shooting through blue hour as the sky deepens and the first stars appear.
The evening ends with stargazing and night portraits. On clear nights, the Milky Way becomes visible overhead. Lantern light is used to create soft, atmospheric images that feel warm and grounded against the night sky. This final portion of the experience is quiet and intentional, bringing the day to a close under the stars.
This elopement is ideal for couples who want a full, layered experience. It offers time with guests, diverse scenery, and a private ending that feels expansive and memorable without requiring a long or strenuous day.
