This Mount Rainier full-day elopement is designed to unfold slowly over ten hours, giving space for both quiet moments and expansive scenery without feeling rushed.
The morning begins at your A-frame cabin. The pace is calm and unhurried. You start the day together, making coffee, opening windows, and easing into the morning before getting ready. As you finish getting dressed, you help each other with final details and take time to write your private vows before heading into the park.
Once ready, we drive into Mount Rainier National Park and begin the day at Tipsoo Lake. You share your private vows near the water with Mount Rainier in the distance, followed by portraits along the shoreline and surrounding paths. After portraits, we slow things down with a charcuterie picnic by the lake. You’ll spend time sitting together, taking in the views, enjoying celebratory drinks, and sharing cake while the morning light moves across the water and surrounding peaks.
From Tipsoo Lake, we continue deeper into the park with a scenic drive toward Paradise. The afternoon is spent walking sections of the Skyline Trail at an easy pace. We move through alpine meadows, past waterfalls, and along open ridgelines, stopping naturally for portraits as the landscape changes. The focus stays on movement, connection, and letting the day unfold without rushing from one spot to the next.
As evening approaches, we remain on the trail for sunset. Light settles across Mount Rainier, waterfalls catch the last glow of the day, and the ridgeline opens up for wide, unobstructed views. Sunset portraits are taken as the day winds down, bringing the experience to a close in a way that feels full and complete.
This elopement is ideal for couples who want a slow morning, meaningful private vows, time to celebrate together, and an immersive day spent exploring some of Mount Rainier’s most iconic scenery.
