If you’re dreaming of an elopement surrounded by Vermont’s most iconic mountain views, Mount Mansfield in Stowe delivers it all — from alpine ridgelines to serene picnic spots. With this comprehensive elopement experience, you’ll have every detail covered, from personalized planning to a complete visual love story that captures both the grandeur of the landscape and the intimacy of your connection.
The day starts with getting ready and a first look at your accommodations in Stowe. From there, we head to the Mount Mansfield Auto Toll Road for a scenic drive, stopping at pull-offs along the way to take in the views of the valley.
When we get to the top of the mountain, we’ll hike along the Mansfield ridgeline, stopping for a picnic and to exchange your vows in a secluded, alpine rock landscape. As the sun begins to set, we’ll make our way back down the mountain, stopping for truly breathtaking golden hour portraits along the way.
Once we’re back in the valley, we’ll head to one of my favorite vistas of Mount Mansfield “from the ground” to capture some after twilight portraits with the iconic profile of the mountain in the background, or stay until we can marvel at the blanket of stars in the sky.
