A truly adventurous PNW elopement, where you’ll explore the magnificent Columbia River Gorge via foot…and airplane! This elopement experience prioritizes amazing views, connection to nature, intimacy, and being present with one another.
You’ll start your day getting ready together at your cozy lodging in SE Portland. You’ll enjoy warm coffee/tea together, quiet and slow moments as you help one another don your wedding attire, and sharing all that beautiful anticipatory energy with one another for the day ahead.
Once you’re ready to go, we’ll take a short drive to Troutdale, where we’ll meet up with the pilot for your private flight on a small three passenger plane. After you board, you’ll soon be enjoying an incredible, scenic flight to Hood River. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the Columbia River Gorge – from a perspective that few get to experience!
Once we land in Hood River, we’ll head out for the next adventure: A hike on one of the many amazing trails the Gorge has to offer. You’ll get to view waterfalls, river views, and potentially mountain views too! Along the way, you’ll take snack breaks at viewpoints, we’ll stop for some epic portraits, and then the grand finale of your hike – you’ll exchange private vows against a brilliant Gorge background.
After we complete your hiking adventure, we’ll meet back up with your pilot to take the flight back to Troutdale. You’ll enjoy even more aerial views of this unique and marvelous area of the PNW, just as the sun starts to set.
After arriving back in Troutdale, we’ll take the short drive back into Portland where you’ll have a private chef waiting at your lodging, already prepping a delicious meal for the two of you. You’ll eat and drink together, reminiscing on the day and your whole journey with one another leading up to this day.
After dinner, you’ll take some time to read letters and watch videos from loved ones, sharing their love and excitement for your future together. After you’ve shared some laughs and happy tears, you’ll partake in some fantastic dessert from a local Portland bakery, before grabbing a couple glasses of a celebratory beverage and cozying up for a peaceful and sweet end to one of the most exciting and memorable days of your lives together.
