This full day elopement adventure is perfect for folks who love outdoor adventuring, want to experience one of the most beautiful settings in the Pacific Northwest, and who absolutely must include their dogs in their marriage celebration!
You’ll start your day just before sunrise. We’ll meet at a trailhead in Olympic National Forest (which permits dogs on trail!) to a mountain lake where you’ll do some last minute getting ready before sharing an intimate first look as daylight starts to light up the trees – with your pups (accompanied by a few of your closest family members) looking on, of course!
After your first look, we’ll begin our hike! Your distance will be a moderate 4-6 miles through gorgeous PNW forests filled with towering trees, beautiful rock formations, streams, and wildlife. We’ll take pit stops along the way for snack, to enjoy some views, and to allow you some time to be fully present with each other.
Soon, we’ll arrive at the lake where you’ll find an overlook to have your ceremony. Here, you’ll exchange your vows, with your closest loved ones (including your dogs!) as witnesses.
After your ceremony, you’ll spend some time exploring the lake while your family members relax at a campsite. We’ll create some beautiful couple’s portraits, while you two take some time for just the two of you to absorb the fact that you just got married!
After you’re done exploring, we’ll start our hike out. Along the way we’ll stop for portraits with all your favorite people (and dogs!) to commemorate their presence with you on this special day. Then, you’ll all share a toast at the cars before we head out to your next location.
After our hike is finished, we’ll make the trip back to your cabin in Sequim where a private chef will be busy cooking a delicious meal for you. As you wait, you’ll enjoy some downtime playing games, relaxing, and sharing memories with your loved ones.
After the most amazing dinner, we’ll head outside to catch sunset. We’ll do some laid back portraits, while you two reminisce on the day and your life together with a few family members. And you’ll end the day, just the two of you, relaxing as the sun goes down – your pups at your side.
