This elopement is the epitome of non-traditional! If you’ve got friends and family you want to include in your wedding celebration – and who you know would be ecstatic to be a part of it, no matter what form it takes – and you’re dreaming of a “just us” day that’s focused on you having a meaningful and fun experience alone together, this package offers the best of both worlds in a unique, memorable way that spans two days.
The first day will be focused on you celebrating with loved ones – but they won’t know it (yet)! You’ll plan an event to gather all your closest loved ones; you can frame it as a birthday party, a significant work accomplishment, or whatever else you know would get all your favorite people together in the same place at the same time.
Folks will arrive while you stay hidden away for a brief period of time. You’ll need one or two people ‘in the know’ to help coordinate this bit – once you’ve got confirmation that everyone’s arrived, you’ll make your entrance to the party, decked out in your wedding attire. Your guests may be confused at first, but you’ll soon announce that they’re actually present to help you get married!
You can have folks participate in whatever meaningful ways you wish. Example: Have them each read a note that gets handed to them – sealed – when they arrive; this note will contain a few lines of your marriage ceremony. Everyone will read their part in turns, and in this way, all your loved ones will have contributed to your ceremony and helped marry you!
Whatever ways you decide to have everyone be an important part of this moment, there’s guaranteed to be tons of happy tears, laughter, and joy. And once this day is over, you’ll still have more celebrating to do!
On a separate day (consecutive to the first or not), you’ll head to a beautiful spot on the Oregon Coast, just the two of you. Here, you’ll focus on just each other. You’ll spend time exploring beautiful landscapes and being present together, reminiscing on all the adventures and memories that brought you to this point. At this point, you’ll be officially married, and this will be an intentional, meaningful way of commemorating that milestone.
We’ll visit a couple different coastal locations so you can enjoy all the varied scenery and vibes the Oregon Coast has to offer. And at the end of it all, you’ll have another beautiful memory of shared adventure as the perfect way to begin this next phase of your life together.
