We’ll start the day at your cabin or lakeside rental with getting ready photos, capturing the anticipation and small details that set the tone. Once you’re dressed, we’ll head to Lake Willoughby for your ceremony. With sheer cliffs rising on both sides of the water, this spot feels dramatic and intimate all at once. You’ll exchange vows along the shoreline, then wander for portraits beside the lake, framed by forests and mountains.
From there, we’ll set out on a short but rewarding hike to a hidden overlook above the lake. The path winds through quiet forest before opening up to sweeping views of the valley, the cliffs, and the lake stretching out below. It’s the perfect place to pause, breathe it in, and capture portraits high above the water.
As the day winds down, we’ll return to the shoreline for your sunset celebration. You’ll pop champagne as the sky softens into gold and pink and then close the evening with lanterns glowing along the water’s edge. The gentle light reflecting off the lake creates a warm, cozy ending to a day filled with adventure, laughter, and connection.
