Your adventurous wedding begins at sunrise in a hidden surf-town, where you can indulge in some delicious pastries and coffee from the local bakery. You can share your morning breakfast with the curious seals and surfers circling the town. If the water looks tempting, you too can join in on the fun and head out for a morning surf. Otherwise we will head out on a morning stroll, through the hills and fog. If hiking is your jam, we can head out on a 6 mile hike to Alamere Falls, otherwise we can let our vehicles do the hard work and head up the hills to Trojan Point for some incredible views of the clouds from above. Between laughter, cuddles, and simple moments of stillness, we’ll capture portraits that highlight the intimacy of this quieter side of your adventure. It’s a moment that feels almost otherworldly and is an unforgettable beginning to your marriage journey. Now would be the perfect time to write your heartfelt vows you will later exchange in front of your closest friends and family.
Midday offers a slower rhythm. We will part ways for a few hours so that you can have some rest and alone time. You can stop at a local restaurant for some fresh oysters and begin preparation for your wedding adventure. You and your favorite people can slowly begin getting ready together at the most adorable luxury boutique hotel, The Olema House. This is when I will arrive and begin documenting the details that set the stage for your fairytale wedding, as well as the connections between you and your biggest supporters.
As the day light softens to warm golden hues, we’ll head toward the coast for a sunset finale. Whether on the sands of Limantour Beach or amidst the rugged Seashore Coast, you’ll be feeling high on life and love. Here is where you will exchange your vows and promise each other “forever”. We’ll capture your final portraits as the sun sinks into the Pacific, sealing your elopement day with both adventure and romance. You can then make your way back to the Olema House for a celebratory meal and drinks. From the clouds to the hills to the sea, this is California at its most magical, this an elopement journey that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.
