Your Washington mountain elopement will begin during blue hour, when the world is quiet and the sky is at its deepest shade of night. We’ll arrive at Artist Point while the stars are still overhead, taking time to slow down, settle in, and create space for the experience to unfold. Under dark alpine skies, we’ll capture astrophotography that feels calm and expansive: you are wrapped in layers, close together, with the mountains reduced to soft silhouettes beneath the stars.
As the sky starts to shift, we’ll move into position for sunrise. The light comes in gradually here, first as a glow on the horizon, then slowly working its way across the peaks. You’ll share your vows as the sun comes up behind the mountains and begins to hit the surrounding peaks. The ceremony timing is planned around first light so the moment feels natural and grounded rather than rushed or staged.
After your vows, we’ll ease into the morning. A simple breakfast picnic, warm coffee in your hands, celebratory drinks, and time to breathe it all in. From there, we will take some time for some couples portraits and explore the nearby alpine viewpoints, taking in the 360-degree overlooks, stopping at tucked-away mountain lakes, or weaving through seasonal wildflower fields as the light becomes soft and even.
There’s no rush to leave the mountains behind. When you’re ready, we’ll transition back toward your cabin for a relaxed, grounding end to the day — pizza shared in cozy clothes, soaking in a hot tub and listening to your favorite vinyls on the record player.
This elopement is about pacing, presence, and contrast — stars to sunrise, ceremony to celebration, wild alpine air to quiet comfort. A full, story-rich experience that gives your day room to breathe and unfold naturally, without forcing a single moment.
