You’ll have every detail covered, from personalized planning to a complete visual love story that captures both the majesty of the Vermont mountains and the intimacy of your connection.
The day starts with getting our hiking packs and picnic ready at your accommodations in Stowe. From there, we’ll be hiking to the top of Spruce Peak on a trail that meets your skill level for a challenging and fun hike to a mountaintop pond. At the top, we’ll find a secluded spot to change into your wedding attire and get ready for your pondside vow exchange and celebratory picnic.
After some relaxation time by the pond, we’ll take a leisurely pace to explore the rest of Spruce Peak summit, including a rocky cliffside with jaw-dropping views of Mount Mansfield and the Notch below. After relaxing on the cliffside, we’ll make our way back down the trail to “the top of the Notch” for portraits among the boulders. In spring, this area is a shade of green that feels unreal, giving it a magical faerie vibe. In the fall, the vibrant fiery leaves provide an elven wood mystique.
For couples who want a little extra magic in their day, we can head to one of my favorite views of the Mount Mansfield profile for after dark portraits during twilight or under the stars.
