Your wedding day in Acadia isn’t about stiff poses or following a strict timeline—it’s an adventure, one where I just happen to bring cameras along for the ride. If the idea of being in front of the lens makes you a little uneasy, I get it—I feel that too! That’s why I keep the focus on connection and genuine fun instead of perfect poses. And while you’re soaking up the day, I’m already a step ahead with backup plans for crowds, weather shifts, and mosquitoes!
We’ll start before the park wakes up, making our way to Otter Point, where rugged cliffs drop into the crashing Atlantic. As the first light spills across the water, you’ll share vows above the ocean—wild, intimate, and unforgettable.
From there, we’ll follow the Ocean Path, stopping at tucked-away overlooks and the dramatic rock formations for portraits. A short hike to a secluded mountain summit brings sweeping views of the coast and Frenchman Bay, giving you a chance to soak in the landscape from above. This is the perfect spot to spread out a morning picnic and champagne toast (and may I suggest some local whoopie pies).
Returning to Ocean Path, we’ll continue finding the most incredible cliffs and hidden coves without the chaos of crowds. The entire time, you’ll be more focused on “holy crap, this view!” versus “uh, what do I do with my hands?” By mid-morning, we’ll have reached Sand Beach, Acadia’s stretch of soft shoreline framed by granite cliffs. Kick off your shoes, play in the surf, and let yourselves sink into those carefree, just-married vibes. These are the in-between moments that often end up being favorites: the laughter, the splashing, the sand between your toes.
Returning to our cars, we’ll get on the road and travel a short distance to Little Hunter’s Beach for a totally different coastal vibe. Gone is the soft sand; you’re now in a secluded, hidden cove where the shore is covered with smooth, round cobblestones that range in both size and color. It provides a beautiful way to end our time together, freeing you up for the afternoon to enjoy some of the best lobster rolls and blueberry pie Maine has to offer.
This full-day experience is built to feel like a journey, not a checklist. Every stop flows naturally into the next, with ample space to pause, breathe, and simply enjoy one another. You’ll end the day not just with stunning photos, but with the memory of an elopement that felt unhurried, adventurous, and completely your own.
