A most-of-the-day adventurous experience in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge, exploring one of the area’s beautiful waterfalls, and ending with a cozy meal and celebratory beverage at Gorges Beer Co in Cascade Locks.
We’ll start the day with you getting ready together at your hotel or Airbnb (complete with stunning views of the Gorge right from your room). You’ll enjoy coffee and a light breakfast while helping each other get ready for one of the best days of your life together.
Once you’re ready to go, we’ll take a short drive to a nearby trail. This ~2 mile, easy to moderate hike will lead you through lush forest, past a smaller waterfall, through a moss covered canyon, and finally ending at a roaring, grand waterfall surrounded by basalt columns. It’s here that you’ll find a quiet nook to exchange your vows with one another, taking in the sound of the water, the cool mist from the falls, the vibrant mossy rocks, and the words of your life partner.
After your vows, you’ll spend some time enjoying the scenery. You’lll settle in with a blanket on a comfy outcropping with views of the falls and open letters written to you from loved ones, laughing and crying over their sweet messages and well wishes for your future together.
After you’ve had plenty of time to take in this beautiful place and the fact that you just married your best friend (!), it’ll be time to head back out. We’ll leisurely meander our way back to the cars, and then head off to your next destination: Gorges Beer Co. Here is where we celebrate! You’ll enjoy a multi-course meal of delicious food, paired with just as tasty, locally made brews. You’ll reminisce over memories of all your shared adventures that lead to this day…and enjoy all the excitement over the adventures still to come.
