Alpine Weekend is a 12 hour split day elopement designed for couples who want to experience Mount Rainier from first light to final glow. This package blends early morning alpine exploration, a grounded lakeside ceremony, and a sunset summit, with a private A frame cabin serving as your home base in between.
The day begins before sunrise at Paradise, where we hike a portion of the Skyline Trail for morning portraits as the first light hits the mountain. Wind in your hair, boots on the trail, your dog trotting alongside you if you choose to bring them. The early hour keeps the landscape calm and the views uninterrupted. These portraits feel expansive and wild, with Rainier fully commanding the horizon.
After sunrise, we transition to a lakeside ceremony within the park. Here, the energy shifts. The water reflects the mountain, the pace slows, and you exchange vows in a setting that feels intimate and grounded. No rushing. No long elevation gain. Just the stillness of the lake and the weight of the moment.
Mid day is intentionally reserved for reset and reflection at your private A frame Airbnb. This space becomes the emotional center of the experience. You can freshen up, write private vows together at the wooden table, share some food on the deck, or include your dog in relaxed cabin portraits. This portion adds depth and warmth to the day, giving space between the intensity of the hikes.
In the evening, we head out for the climb to Pinnacle Peak. The hike is steady and rewarding, leading to a dramatic overlook just in time for sunset. This is where we capture bold, elevated portraits as the sky softens and the mountain silhouettes in the distance. The day closes high above it all, ending with golden light and open sky.
