Your Acadia elopement should feel expansive and effortless—not crowded, scripted, or stressful. I’ll guide you to the kind of views people dream about while quietly handling the logistics behind the scenes: crowd timing, weather pivots, alternate routes, and Plan B (and C). All you have to do is show up and be in it. I’m equal parts calm guide, built-in encouragement, and extra set of eyes—so nothing ever feels stiff or performative. Just real moments, unfolding as they should.
We’ll start before the sun does, hiking out under a sky still full of stars. Headlamps on, cool air, the trail quiet and empty. It’s a manageable climb with a big payoff, and as the horizon begins to glow, we’ll reach a tucked-away summit right on time. In autumn, the ground is scattered with color; in summer, wildflowers find their way through the stone. Standing high above the Atlantic, you’ll exchange private vows as the first light rolls in—no distractions, no audience, just the ocean and that this is really happening feeling.
From there, we make our way back toward the coast, where the drama of Otter Point and the curves of Ocean Path open up. This is where we meet your guests for the ceremony, group photos, and toasts—easy, relaxed, and unhurried. Once the formalities wind down, we peel away again and continue along Ocean Path, stopping wherever the view pulls us in. Quiet bluffs, overlooked corners, places to sit for a minute, breathe in the salt air, share a drink, or just listen to the waves doing their thing below.
After the first part of the day, you’ll take a real break—time to rest, grab lunch, change clothes, or simply recharge. Later in the afternoon, we come back together with your guests for the final chapter, and Acadia feels completely different. You can choose to head out onto the water aboard a private coastal boat charter or host a sunset reception at a favorite local restaurant or your Airbnb.
If you opt for the cruise, you’ll drift past rugged shoreline, offshore islands, and sea cliffs—maybe spotting seals or seabirds—experiencing the park from an entirely new perspective. As the light softens and the sky shifts from gold to pink to deep blue, we’ll capture portraits that feel calm, celebratory, and quietly cinematic.
If you choose to stay on land, you’ll gather with your closest friends and family to share a meal, celebrate with a first dance, and end the day with a sweet cake cutting—an intimate, relaxed close to an unforgettable day.
This full-day experience gives you Acadia from two opposite ends of the day—sunrise from above and sunset from the sea. It’s not about packing in locations or racing the clock. It’s about moving through the landscape at a human pace, letting moments breathe, and creating a day that feels grounded, adventurous, and genuinely yours. When it’s over, you won’t just have photos—you’ll have a story that actually feels like the day you lived.
