This is for couples who love some adventure but love honoring the land they are on. Your day will begin in the stillness of the night, to start your adventure to Mount Rainier. The roads will be quiet, the stars brilliant overhead, as you drive toward the trailhead, anticipation building with every mile.
When we arrive at the parking area, we’ll begin with stargazing. The night sky is incredibly dark and you can see so many stars. Cuddle up in a blanket and start to get excited for the hike ahead. During the next 2 hours of our early morning, you will hike 1.75 miles in the dark, headlamps guiding your way through alpine forests and begin to see the first light of day as we hit the open ridges. Every step will feel electric, every breath infused with the thrill of adventure.
At the end of the trail, on a sweeping vista viewpoint, you will get dressed and share a first look, hearts racing with excitement and awe. As the sun rises, spilling golden light across the peaks, you will read your vows, your words carried on the crisp morning air, witnessed only by the mountains and each other.
Afterward, we will hike just a bit further and capture adventure portraits, celebrating your love while leaving the landscape untouched. You’ll take some time to sit and enjoy a charcuterie breakfast of delicious meats and cheeses which taste even better after the hike. You’ll make your own coffee and soak in the view before we hiking back down 1.75 miles (the last 2 hours of your day) for a total of 3.5 miles for your elopement journey, every step alive with excitement, respect, and the joy of experiencing the wilderness together.
