Baker’s alpine beauty in both its quietest and most cinematic moments, especially at sunrise when the world begins to calm and the light turns gold, surrounded by mountains and your love – its pure magic!
Your day begins with Picture Lake for your first look. With Mount Shuksan mirrored on the water, it’s the perfect spot for portraits that feel both calm and otherworldly. You’ll see each other for the first time – starting your wedding day – surrounded by 360 degree views and the love of your life!
We’ll then head up towards Artist Point and hike to that magical view – when the sun crests over the mountains and paints the valley with its morning light, the perfect backdrop to share your private vows. After exploring, taking photos – we’ll stop to take in the views with warm coffee and your favorite breakfast pastry.
Then your family and your pups will join us (it’s dog friendly in this area! Yay!) for your ceremony!
We’ll take the short, paved hike to Huntoon Point via Artist Ridge for your ceremony. The approach is easy but delivers sweeping alpine views, jagged ridgelines, meadows, and glacier-covered peaks. Here, with the sky glowing, you’ll exchange vows in a quiet clearing, surrounded by the stillness of morning. After your ceremony, we’ll linger for portraits along the ridge before heading back down to celebrate.
Back at the A-frame cabin, a beautiful brunch made by your private chef will be waiting for you and your guests! Your guests will share a few toasts as those intimate moments are captured forever! After brunch – Midday is yours.
Take that break for downtime, a nap, or simply time together while I step back so you can enjoy your first hours of marriage in peace.
As afternoon light begins to soften, I’ll meet you back at your cabin to capture you both spending time with your people! Then your family/friends will help you get ready in your wedding attire – before we return to the mountain ridge for your styled picnic. Think charcuterie, champagne, and blankets spread out on warm rocks. As the sun sinks, portraits continue across the alpine landscape, capturing laughter, connection, and the golden glow of Mt. Baker.
When twilight arrives, your story closes with a Blue Hour first dance. Lanterns and soft lights will set the mood as the mountains fade into silhouette and the indigo sky wraps around you. These final portraits are moody, intimate, and unforgettable, it’s the perfect ending to a day designed to be both adventurous and deeply personal.
