This two-day elopement adventure is perfect for folks who want to celebrate with a small group of loved ones – and also have intentional, quality “just us” time. Both days will be set against beautiful Washington backdrops of lakes, mountains, and forests. Spreading your elopement over two days allows you to have the best of both worlds (time with guests, as well as alone), explore multiple locations, do multiple activities, and experience it all at a leisurely pace that allows you to stay present with each other the entire time.
Day one starts at a cozy cabin in a perfect central location within fair driving distance of both destinations for both days. You’ll spend this day with family and friends, starting with quiet getting ready time together. You and your partner will share a sweet and private first look in a forested setting at your cabin before everyone heads out to your first destination: A gorgeous (and easily accessible!) lake set against tree-filled hillsides. There, you’ll enjoy some alone time during golden hour while all your guests make their way to the ceremony site. Once everyone is present, you’ll make your marriage official with an intimate ceremony as the sun sets.
After your ceremony, you’ll all head to a local restaurant where you’ll enjoy amazing food, great drink, and share lots of laughter and joy. At the very end of the evening, you and your chosen loved ones will sign your marriage license to make you legally legit!
On Day 2, you’ll enjoy a slow morning and relaxed early afternoon before we meet up at your second destination: Mount Rainier. Here, you’ll embark on a moderate hike of 3-5 miles, just the two of you. We’ll identify exciting viewpoints and stopping areas where we’ll create some beautiful portraits of you two, take snack breaks, and read letters from loved ones. Towards the end of your hike, and with Mount Rainier watching over you, you’ll share private vows with one another as the sun goes down and blue hour sets in. From there, we’ll head back to the cars, and you’ll wrap up your elopement adventure with a cozy night in at your cabin, reminiscing about all the amazing memories you just made together – and all those still to come in your life together.
