This 1.5-day Alaska elopement pairs a fully custom 3-hour, 3-stop helicopter tour on the Knik Glacier, adventures in Hatcher Pass, and unhurried days and 2-cozy nights at an off-grid homestead where adventure and rest exist side by side.
Your elopement is not a single dramatic moment, built to be rushed.
This Hatcher Pass + Knik Glacier elopement is designed around how Alaska feels when you have time—so that you can slow down, really explore the landscape, and be able relax into the experience to feel each moment.
Day One: Arrival, Glacier Vows & Midnight Sun
You’ll travel from Anchorage to The Wilds homestead in the morning, where we meet at the cabins. Getting ready happens onsite, with hair and makeup artists able to come directly to you so the day stays relaxed and with less stress.
After settling into your off-grid tiny cabin, there’s time to explore, enjoy lunch, and prepare for what’s ahead. Whether you get ready together or apart for a first look, the day builds naturally.
In the afternoon, you’ll lift off for your private, fully custom helicopter experience. With up to three hours and up to three landings, the route is flexiblty to what you want to see, and, the day’s conditions. With three hours, you have time and space to explore glacier ice, blue melt pools, alpine terrain, and, savor your quiet in-between moments. Portraits and exploration unfold at an easy pace, with time for a light picnic in the field.
After returning from the glacier, the evening slows into celebration and relaxation.
Dinner is prepared onsite by a private backcountry chef, served near your cabin with sweetheart table styling and thoughtful presentation. The night closes with a toast, a petite wedding cake or celebratory treat, and time by the campfire or in the hot tub before resting under Alaska’s midnight sun.
Day Two: Hatcher Pass & Slow Adventure
The morning begins gently with breakfast made just for you. Have second wedding look designed for the day’s adventure.
You’ll head to Hatcher Pass for a private, flexible hiking experience. Distance, pace, and terrain are decided by how you want to experience the mountains—easy or adventurous, short or extended.
Photography focuses on movement and connection rather than posing, capturing the experience as it unfolds. If Day One included guests, this is a beautiful time for private vows.
A gourmet charcuterie lunch, styled for to be enjoyed while you explore, becomes your mid-adventure pause in the alpine landscape.
With a second night already included, the afternoon stays open. Soak again in the hot tub, wander the property, or simply rest and let the experience settle through into the night—just the two of you, or shared quietly with your treasured few.
Your final morning begins quietly with a light breakfast before check-out, easing you into the next chapter of your Alaska journey.
