Your story begins in Seward, where you’ll board a private helicopter for a flightseeing journey into the wild. Resurrection Bay, glaciers, ridges, and untouched backcountry stretch out beneath you before your pilot sets down on an alpine ridge. With two full hours on the ground, you’ll have space for vows, portraits, and a styled picnic in a place so remote that a heli is the only way to reach it.
From there, your heli carries you deeper into the wild, where a hidden glamping camp rests on the edge of an iceberg-studded lagoon. For the next 24 hours, this is your home. As you wave goodbye to your heli, your expert backcountry guide (aka “mountain butler”) welcomes you and helps you settle into your private luxury glamping yurt with real bedding, luxe linens, twinkly lights, and cozy blankets. Indulge in a plated dinner of local delicacies (think Alaskan crab legs, or smoked ribs) and a “just-us-sized” wedding cake, all carried in by heli, and, served beautifully at your sweetheart table. With real china, silverware, and candles to set the scene, you ease into the meal, toast with bubbly, and watch icebergs glow in the midnight sun hovering on the horizon.
Because the summer nights are so long, you won’t want the day to end! Walk the shoreline, snuggle under a Pendleton blanket by the campfire, and then finally, fall asleep in your private yurt to the sounds of icebergs drifting in the lagoon.
Day Two begins slowly with breakfast delivered to your yurt by your mountain butler. A day of relaxation and celebration, with nothing to do except marvel in this place, together. Enjoy a leisurely, fully-guided once-in-a-lifetime kayak excursion among icebergs, pausing for a shoreline picnic. And, if you’re feeling daring once you return to camp? Taking a cold plunge with icebergs in glacier-fed waters is highly recommended before your private helicopter arrives to fly you back to Seward.
