Amanda is Wandering Weddings’ executive editor and first joined Wandering Weddings in 2019.
She first joined the team because she shared a passion for both travel and intimate moments in life. Instead of a big, traditional wedding, Amanda planned a small one at a family member’s lake house, where she later went on her 2-week honeymoon to explore parts of Italy.
Amanda has 4 years of experience covering personal elopement stories, intimate wedding trends, elopement fashion, location guides, and more.
When she’s not writing resources and inspiring other couples to elope, Amanda is reading books, planning her next adventure, and dreaming of one day traveling across the State with her family, stopping at all the amazing national parks she writes about daily.
Amanda joined the Wandering Weddings team in 2019 as a social media manager. She later transitioned into her role of executive editor, where she prioritizes creating elopement stories and resources couples can use to plan their special day.
Amanda graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University with a B.A. in English and Psychology and a Masters in Marketing.
