We personally love Airbnb weddings because they don’t usually come with the massive markup price most traditional wedding venues have. We also love Airbnbs for a more intimate and personal experience.
But how do you have a wedding at an Airbnb? What should you plan for?

Top Tips to Help You Prepare for Your Airbnb Wedding Day
Talk to the Host and ask if Hosting Your Wedding at Their Airbnb is OK
Since Airbnbs are becoming a popular wedding venue alternative, it’s important to be clear with the property owner.
Can you have a wedding at an Airbnb? While we have found the answer is usually YES for small and intimate weddings, a lot of Airbnb owners are not ok with big traditional weddings.
Try to see the Property in Person
This is huge if you’re planning on taking getting ready photos here or hosting a post elopement party with your immediate friends and family.
Seeing the property also allows you to consider the decor and location of the Airbnb.
Is the surrounding location somewhere you can take your wedding photos together?
Is there natural lighting?
If you aren’t sure, then connect with your photographer to see what you should be aware of when you visit the Airbnb.
Do Your Research
If you’re considering having an Airbnb wedding, then you need to do your research. This includes looking at the reviews, photos, and full listing on these Airbnbs.
Are you having your four-legged friend join you on your wedding day? If so, then you need to make sure the Airbnb is pet friendly.
