A Boat Ride Toward a Quiet Beach
Later in the afternoon, the couple left the busy streets behind and boarded a private boat bound for a secluded beach away from the crowds. The transition from the lively town to the quiet shoreline gave the second half of their day an entirely different pace, creating space for an intimate ceremony surrounded by the sea.
Waiting for them on the beach was a private picnic and dinner prepared by a local chef. A table had been thoughtfully arranged near the shore with fresh flowers, chilled wine, and soft music playing in the background. It became a place where they could slow down together before exchanging their vows as the evening light settled over the water.
After the lively streets of Mykonos, the quiet beach offered a completely different pace. It gave Hallie and Jay the private setting they had hoped for from the very beginning, allowing them to exchange their vows with just the two of them.

Barefoot Vows by the Water
As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, Hallie and Jay stepped barefoot onto the sand and shared their vows with one another. The waves quietly reached the shoreline beside them while the private beach created a peaceful setting for one of the most meaningful parts of the day.
Earlier that morning, Jay had spent time writing those vows while Hallie finished getting ready at the hotel. By evening, they were able to exchange them in a place they had intentionally chosen after months of planning together with Julia.
Julia shared that immediately after they exchanged rings, the atmosphere shifted in the best possible way. The ceremony gave way to laughter, playful energy, and complete freedom as they embraced everything the moment had become.

Running Into the Sea
As soon as Hallie and Jay exchanged their rings, they took off running down the beach. Laughing together, they got sand on their wedding clothes before splashing into the ocean, turning the quiet moments after their vows into one of the most playful parts of the day.
By then, the wind that had followed them for much of the day had finally settled. The water was warm and calm as the sun continued to set, creating the perfect backdrop for the evening’s final moments. Julia shared that this was her favorite part of the day to photograph because it felt so genuine, with all the excitement of the day coming out in laughter, playful moments, and an impromptu swim in the sea.
By the end of the evening, their wedding clothes were soaked, their feet were covered in sand, and they were still laughing together in the water. It was a memorable way to wrap up a day that reflected everything they had hoped their elopement would be.
